Really pleasant friendly owner who runs this family run hotel on a day to day basis who went out of his way to be helpful. I enjoyed the stay so much that I booked in for some extra time. Aircon was quiet and worked well. A must in the high summer temperatures. Really interesting old building. Sansepolcro is a lovely quiet town with lots of interesting buildings, museums, shops, friendly people and really nice food. Local coop supermarket provides a great range of local food and there are several smaller food shops in the town itself. Cafes and restaurants abound in the town. I would go back to Hotel Oroscopo again any time if I could.

This was better than expected. We expected a hostel but it has ensuite rooms and even provides toothpaste and toothbrushes. The place is a bit dated but very clean and has a great rooftop terrace. The proprietor was unable to provide breakfast herself but had made arrangements with a local cafe which opens at 6.00am. Perfect for our early morning start.

The place is absolutely extraordinary, very beautiful, very clean, renovated and arranged with very good taste, in the middle of nature, with such a clean and fresh air, and a lot of silence. The owners, Giovanna and Paolo, are the nicest and warmest people you can meet, very discreet, but ready to help and assist their guests with what they need. The rooms are beautiful and cosy, with very comfortable beds, large bathrooms with everything you need, and everything is sparkling clean. There is a shared living room and a shared kitchen, where you can cook and serve lunch or dinner, or you can serve meals outside, on one of the terraces. It is the perfect place for relaxation, very quite, and very romantic, ideal for those who want to enjoy nature, but also for those like us, who want to visit the nearby cities and villages, like Sansepolcro, Citta di Castello, Anghiari, Arezzo, Perugia, etc. The price is really honest for what they offer, you cannot find a comparable place in the area.

The place is wonderful. Overlooking the valley, you can stay in a carefully restructured old summer villa. The hosts are very welcoming, the room I had was enormous, clean and quiet. Breakfast is excellent - you can get both a sweet and (asking) savoury one (made fresh for you). The swimming pool is great to properly swim, and the surrounding are lovely.

I true gem in eastern Tuscany, this is a very walkable village with great restaurants, bars, views of countryside and amazing history. The people of the town were extremely friendly and it was not overcrowded with tourists. I would highly recommend a visit.

It is compact. Not Hilly. Has the Pieros to view.

It is compact. Not Hilly. Has the Pieros to view. Lovely churches. Good restaurants and with a car the perfect base to set out from to explore the Tiber valley and the Val d'Arno. Been going there for some 50 years. Just get the maps and start discovering lost castles and churches and glorious scenery.

A beautiful old Tuscan town, with many local bars and restaurants to enjoy. The tourist information was very helpful (in the main square by the Dodecahedron sculpture). Just a lovely old town with much to explore.

We returned after 20 years to revisit the Pierro Della Francesca painting of the Resurrection. Stunning. The ancient town centre is very attractive with magnificent buildings and a good supply of restaurants and cafes. Like everywhere at the moment Covid is affecting business and tourism. Just lovely to wander around.

Our host Angela was wonderful and most helpful. The B&B was extremely clean and very comfortable.. Breakfast was also a big plus. The location in the middle of vineyards was beautiful plus less than 10 minutes to Orvieto Would highly recommend.

A beautiful medieval tower set in Sansepolcro. The location was perfect to walk anywhere in the town and enjoy the sights. We were met by Andrea and shown the property and how everything worked. The terrace at the top of the tower was perfect. At the end of the day, we enjoyed a delightful 360-degree view of the surrounding area of Sansepolcro with a glass of local wine and fresh produce. The accommodation was extremely comfortable and a perfect location for our holiday. We would definitely return. Thank you, Andrea!

Excellent location to visit surrounding rights in Tuscany and Umbria. One hour far from Siena, 20 min from Arezzo, 40 min from Perugia. Old town of Sansepolcro in stone is just in 5 min walking distance. Clean, comfortable hotel, with extra nice staff (Daniela is excellent receptionist), various gluten free options for breakfast, free parking. We also got free upgrade for bigger room.

Great location for sightseeing. Easy to visit Sansepolcro, Monterchi, Anghiari by car. Staff friendly. Food great. Rooms clean and functional. Nice swimming pool if weather warm.

It is the best hotel one could imagine. Such a hidden gem and not sold out. Also, at a very reasonable price. We stayed an extra day to languish in the decadent luxury.
