This whole place was new, smells nice and has an elevator. It has a nice view over the street, bustling with life. You can hear the train in the distance but it is not a problem. You cannot park next to the building but you can find a parking place nearby. Close walk to the stone beach. Beautiful sunsets. Everything was provided - well equipped, there was info about restaurants, numbers, even the menu (a great bar BTW), there was food like oil, fiocchi, etc. which was great. The host is a great person who really takes care of the guests. We loved it, we are going back 100%!

beautiful authentic area of Sicily, the villa is situated 10 minutes from the town, where you have access to the beaches, local shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The locals are very kind and accommodating. If you are looking for authentic and local, this is definitely worth visiting. I will definitely be back again. The villa was magical, beautiful sea views, where you can watch the sun set every evening, the villa was clean, spacious and had all the essentials required to provide a wonderful, relaxing and magical stay. Antonio and his family were kind, always there to help, we were greeted with a hamper of local and delicious produce. Every bit of this stay was wonderful. Thank you :)

A lovely town, with excellent waterfront bars, clean beaches...

A lovely town, with excellent waterfront bars, clean beaches and sea. Those small pebbles separating us from the sea need to be fixed. It's not chaotic, perfect for a city detox. From here, you can easily reach the various neighboring villages such as Terranova, Capo d'Orlando, Gioiosa Marea, San Gregorio, Brolo, etc.

THE SUNSETS ARE UNIQUE. THEY MAKE THOSE IN KEY WEST PALE. THE SUN SINKS IN THE SEA AND WHEN THE LAST FLAME OF LIGHT GOES OUT, WITH THE AMPHITHEATRE OF THE AEOLIAN ISLANDS IN THE BACKGROUND, COLORS WITH SHADES RANGING FROM BLUE TO YELLOW ABUNDANCE.

It is a place with roads equidistant from the most distant places in Sicily, which can be reached in no more than three hours. Therefore, in one day you can do any excursion, returning to sleep in the evening at the starting point, including the Aeolian Islands by boat.

Its central location allows you to reach any part of Sicily in a three-hour drive, allowing you to take excursions and return home in the evening. It's a small town with all the amenities you need. All trains from Messina to Palermo stop at the station.

This was not our first time at the property, and it won't be our last. We usually get rooms 20-21, which have a bathroom in common and fit a family of four perfectly. The lady at reception was very nice to put some complimentary water to cool in the room fridge before our arrival: it was scorching outside! Breakfast is fantastic: the cakes are legendary and deserve a special mention, as does the lady who makes them! The rooms are clean and spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. We always have a lovely time in this hotel.

It was quirky, with lots of character, and reflected love and passion for Sicilian life. We loved feeling ‘local’ and watching the world go by from the balcony. It was very different from a typical B&B or hotel. Cosy little kitchen area and we liked the bedroom on the upstairs floor up the wooden steps. We were kept well informed by the host Salvatore and his friend who helped us when we arrived, and we appreciated the welcome treats!
