The villa is very spacious (3 double bed bedrooms), decorated in a modern way, with all the creature comforts like wifi, smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, bbq, pool! The villa was very clean and is tended by Tim (owner) very well! He puts a lot of effort and care into making the house feel welcome. The kitchen had a collection of spices, coffee, salt, pepper and oil for cooking. Its these kind of touches all over that made it an absolute pleasure to stay here short term:) Tim was always happy to help with effort and advice about the local attractions, secret beaches and fine eats. 10/10. coming again!

Really good sized room which was very clean, light and, with it being 29°C outside, cool. The staff were very attentive and, despite our limited Italian, were very helpful. I am coeliac but the hotel was able to provide a full and varied breakfast.

Really exceptional apartment, right by the old town, easy access to the beach and the real part of the city. We had a wonderful stay! The hotel has a little garden, nice breakfast, clearly really taken care of and looking to provide the best stay.

De Rose is a beautiful ‘70s resort with an authentic luxury aesthetic that my (younger) generation is hungry for. Beautifully furnished room with a renovated bathroom. The swimming pool is huge and has nice views. The staff was attentive. The private beach area is great and has a bar.

Everything was very good ! Very nice, clean room, good internet, good aircon. I had a lovely balcony with furniture. There is also a common terrace with beautiful plants and shade. The owners were wonderful, very friendly ! They even gave me a free lift to the railwaystation, becauseI was ill ! There is a machine in the hotel, where you can get different hot drinks ( Mocaccino, Capuccino etc.) for only 50 cents. The B&B is only 100 meters from the beach, the supermarket, the souvenirshop and a few nice restaurants. Scalea is quiet, not overcrowded, and has a big beach. The pizzeria across the souvenirshop makes great pizzas at very reasonable prices, friendly people. You can see the old part of Scalea from this street or visit it. You can easily walk down from the railwaystation, it is near and NOT steep. I highly recommend this B&B and Scalea ! Thanks very much ! Tutto perfetto, grazie mille !
