I loved everything! I can’t fault them on anything. Modern facilities in a nice classic setting. The staff were amazing and went over and above to make sure I had a pleasant stay and had everything I needed. Breakfast was unreal. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Minerva Hotel! Room and the whole hotel was clean and everyone was so helpful and nice. The breakfast was very good at the beautiful garden. We enjoyed the pool area very much. Definitely recommend!

Hotel Blu di Te is an oasis for people who love a successful and unique interior design. Someone has been at work here who has stylishly designed something harmonious. The friendly and helpful staff match this ambience. Giulia at the reception and Alessandro in the bar, just to mention two names. Breakfast is delicious and there is plenty of choice. If you want, you can also have lunch, the choice of dishes is limited but they are very delicious. The hotel is in the middle of the city but in a quiet side street, so our rooms were also very quiet. The view from the room is nothing special, the hotel is in the middle of residential buildings and looks out onto the courtyards or gardens of these houses. But it is wonderful to sleep here. We loved our stay here.

I just love the hotel, it's the second time I'm staying there and I am absolutely happy about everything - wonderful small castle with breathtaking views, friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast served in a quaint dining room with the view of the town and the sea, comfortable and clean room. I would like to heartily thank all the staff again for our unforgettable holiday, I highly recommend this place and we will certainly come back!

We loved Santa Margherita Ligure.

We loved Santa Margherita Ligure. You are able to take nice waterfront walks, all the way to Portofino if you want. The city wasn't too crowded when we were there in October and makes an excellent base to explore other areas like the Cinque Terre, which is only 1 hour away by train. There were many restaurants to choose from and local grocery stores with reasonable prices.

SML perfect balance between Camogli and Portofino.

SML perfect balance between Camogli and Portofino. Busy, but not nuts. Expensive, but not "break the bank". Friendly without being pretentious. Like most of Italy, easy for English speakers. This review based on off-season visit, so no idea about June/July! Cinque Terre different animal, so will not compare to that city.

Nice town with much to do in town and nearby.

Nice town with much to do in town and nearby. Go to Rapallo by train and take the aerial tram to see the church and eat at the restaurant with the most beautiful terrace about 200 yards through the trees on a path of enlightenment. Go have a drink by the castle for a lively scene and view.

Lovely sea side town. Very good ferry link for Portofino. Nice shops and good restaurants and are more reasonably priced than Portofino yet only takes 15 mins to travel there by boat. We went end of season in late September and there were a lot of locals swimming and enjoying the sea. I didn't get chance to walk between the 2 resorts but it looked flat and easy. Highly recommend a visit on the ferry to Santa Fruttuoso - stunning. can get busy when a big cruise ship arrives in town. The harbour is interesting and lots to see and people watch. some of the yachts are impressive!

We only stayed one night but walked along the beach and watched the sunset from the marina. We also visited the local shops and ate dinner in the restaurant next door which was excellent. We enjoyed the sunrise from our terrace. The pool was open but it is outside and unheated, so it was too cool to swim.

It was not as hectic as some nearby villages. But had easy access to the Cinque Terre by the train pass. Beautiful & clean. Lively atmosphere in the evening. Prices were a bit more reasonable as well.

The hotel is in the city centre and 4 minutes to Santa Margherita train station. We were able to walk everywhere on our stay. The staff is outstanding and helpful, we were provided with an early check in and complementary drinks. Don’t hesitate to step up your room if you’re in doubt. The rooms on 4th floor are gorgeous and ideal for a couple. Sig.ra Simona from front desk does everything in her power to help you with your requests. She was exceptional.

Our stay at the Hotel Continental in Santa Margarita was a memorable experience. The stunning location, impeccable service, and the opportunity to stay in a sea facing room and enjoy breakfast on the terrace while overlooking the bay made it a truly special visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious getaway with unbeatable views. It's a hidden gem that I hope to return to in the future.

The standard of the accommodation is top rate. The view from the patio is one of the reasons British folk come to Italy. Out the front door is a grocery shop, a bar and a restaurant. Good bus service to Portofina. Would definitely come again.😁😁😁

A perfect hotel for this area. Walk into Santa Margherita in 5 mins and get a quick ferry to Portofino. Very quiet rooms too! An excellent hotel.
