I highly recommend this accommodation. Guests have at their disposal the entire three-story house with a kitchen, living room and bedroom with incredible mountain views. The area impresses with its silence and natural beauty. The house has absolutely everything for the comfort of guests, as well as breakfast included. There are a couple of amazing places to visit within a few minutes drive to admire the beauty of the place, and there is also an amazing waterfall within an hour's drive where you can swim.

A very good surprise, with a hotel bringing a very charming mountain lodge feeling. The experience of the nice drinks and great dinner on the outside terrasse was one of the highlight of our italian trip, with great view on the sunset over the mountains and historic buildings. The hike around the lake was also very enjoyable.

Santa Sofia is a somewhat sleepy little town, very picturesquely situated on a river. Weirs divert some of the water, creating beautiful pools and cascades – surely a refreshing spot in the height of summer. We ate well at several restaurants at very reasonable prices.

I know the place; we start our cycling trips there or nearby every year for a few days. There's a fantastic pizzeria, a bar, and a supermarket. It's small and has a charming, old-fashioned feel. It's perfect for those who want peaceful hikes or bike rides, but in my opinion, it's not for those looking for a more urban experience.

The riverside is very pretty, with some modern art along the riverbed. I recommend a restaurant with tables right on the river: their special feature is their garden full of ducks and ducklings, a nice idea. Santa Sofia is well-located for excursions to Premilcuore (waterfalls) and Ridracoli Dam (boat ride on the lake).

A lovely hotel tucked away in Panetta’s charming borgo. The outdoor space and pool were beautiful, peaceful and well-kept, with shabby chic furniture and lots of thoughtful, meticulous details throughout. It all felt very relaxed and tastefully done. The breakfast was a real highlight: generous and delicious, served outdoors on the main Borgo street, which gave it a special atmosphere.
