The environment is calm and beautiful. A nicely decorated house with all the facilities we need, there is a parking just behind the house. The garden is very well maintained and everywhere is clean. There are 2 comfortable double beds, 1 in the bedroom and the other is in the living room. As there is no window shutter, for those who sleeps in the living room, get a night mask if you don't want to be awaken by the 7am summer sun. I think this is quite common in Italy that is why I really appreciate the dark double curtains in the bedroom. The host is very kind and helpful (even provide us with a list of beaches to go). The location is good. Near to some beaches, the airport and also a big shopping mall at few minutes drive. We will not hesitate to return.

Everything was great. For the staff, we always talked to a woman who seemed to be the owner, but she was very kind and looked for pleasesing. The location is great. Olbia may not be that famous as city, but I really loved all the restaurants around the hotel, in a cute city. The parking lot is right one block from it, which is also great. The room was very confortable too, so I have only good things to talk about this place

The property is so peaceful and stunning, surrounded by hills, olive groves, and vineyards and with a view through to the ocean. The sunsets and sunrises there are absolutely incredible. The property was immaculately clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The veranda where you eat breakfast with the amazing views is one of the most relaxing places on earth. Above all, Francesca is a beautiful and wonderful person and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was right for us during our stay. She was always reachable and always so friendly and approachable. We would love to come back as soon as we can.

We had a great week at Doma Maria early July 2025!

We had a great week at Doma Maria early July 2025! The rent is not cheap, but the energy costs are include, and the airconditioning was vital for us, with temperatures ranging from 33-36 degrees that week. Bedrooms can be fully darkened = a plus for a good night sleep. Albeit the houses are close to one another, we did not experience any noise or nuisance. The house is conveniently & tastefully furnished and equipped with contemporary, in many cases new, devices. The pool is shared with other owners & their guests, well maintained and guarded, and at this time of year never very crowded. As soon as the domain’s former bar/restaurant/supermarket will be renovated & reopened, this will be an additional asset (currently it gives a somewhat desolate view). We had to pay an additional 20€ for late-arrival, but could stay a couple of hours longer than the official check-out time, so that was definitely appreciated and worth the extra cost. We rent a car, which is recommended, and within 1 hour driving time from the house, several nice cities, beaches, activities, … are within reach. Overall, we recommend this holiday place a lot. Sardinië is beautiful!

We stayed just one night before leaving Olbia on the ferry. The two-room apartment, which is actually a single house, is a bit on the outskirts of town but is truly charming, new, and equipped with every comfort. Highly recommended!

The beaches are relatively close, at least Olbia and the surrounding area, and the city of Olbia itself has a lovely central promenade with plenty of interesting places to eat. Ruiu is a relatively quiet area, at least where we were, as the resort is quite large. The access roads aren't great, but that's a common problem on the island.
