We were accommodated in a spacious room on the 3rd floor. It was clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. They bought train tickets for us. The train station of Stezzano is in a 5-minute walking distance. This is very convenient.

Everything ! I can normally find fault with just about anything - but I'm struggling here. Petronilla is a small boutique hotel in a quiet street close to the centre of the lower town. It is well positioned to walk up to the older, picturesque upper town (or for the funicular). The hotel is well appointed and comfortable - we were upgraded, so all rooms may not be quite as good as ours: spacious, tastefully decorated with a vast bed and equally huge bathroom. The road outside was very quiet at night for a city centre - even on the night Atalanta beat AC Milan. Breakfast was outstanding (I would particularly recommend the cheese omelette). But what really stands out here is the professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff who were all absolutely outstanding. Many thanks to you all - now where is that sixth star when you need it ?

The location was exceptional, right in the heart of Bergamo. It is an old building that has been fully renovated and earthquake strengthened. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. We booked a Deluxe Double Room with Balcony, which was spacious, with a great bathroom. The balcony was in a courtyard, but we had a great view from the window. TIP - there is a rear entrance with elevator for your luggage. No need to lug bags up the stairs at the front entrance.

we needed a room just to overnight before a super early flight. There were 3 of us, the size of the room was ok, the beds were comfortable, there were towels and a clean enough bathroom. till Bergamo airport is approx 10-15m. by car. keep in mind that Italians sometimes close the roads without alternative suggestions so for us it took 30mins at night without any traffic.

The apartment was in the beginning a little hard to find, it is quite a game to get to it, but it has its own unique charm. It is a real Italian style house with wood furniture and you have the impression that you are in another era, the bells from the city clock rang in the evening and together with the sunset it was something special. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Nice quiet place away from the city. Great place with a nice playground for the kids. We only had a single night at comeback, but I would recommend other familys to wisit comeback. The host family was very kind and shared knowledge about what to see in Bergamo.
