Awesome! Even 10* does not catch the hotel. Clean rooms, all is shiny and new. Very welcome staff. Breakfast better than in 5 times expensive competitors. Close to beach and city center. All good.

Everything about this hotel was excellent from the amazing front desk staff to the elegance and the cleanliness. The breakfast was very good, although at times it could use some quicker replenishing, however the quality and variety was great. The location of this hotel was perfect as it was within a short walk to the Centro of Tropea but not close enough to be bothered by the noise. Our group of friends all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colomba D'Oro ... thank you!

Our stay at Michelizia Resort was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, the staff did everything to make our experience memorable. A special shoutout to Ms. Dominique, who was super helpful and made sure we got the perfect room with a stunning view. She was so warm and welcoming. We also want to thank the elegant Mr. Director, who not only made sure everything was perfect but even helped us with our bags when it was time to leave. It is a very picturesque town, and it is easy to visit the...

It is a very picturesque town, and it is easy to visit the top spots. Take a slow walk down the cliff from the town to the beach. The sand is fine and the water is a clear blue. Go up to the monastery and take photos of the coast. Just spend some time walking down the narrow streets and alleyways. We went in the offseason and didn't get a chance to visit Stromboli, the volcanic island. That should be a highlight and something we will do next time.

We loved the choice of beaches and the crystal clear sea, we could see fish swimming within touching distance of us. When its really hot, there is plenty of shady beach areas if wanted. The old town was amazing to see from the beach underneath, the way its been built on the cliff. Good choice of restaurants and bars.

I loved the views and the variety of spots to relax from...

I loved the views and the variety of spots to relax from high up in town to down close to the sea. The wind and cooler temperatures stopped us from entering the water however, as the sea temperature is still quite temperate there were many swimmers early October.

The beaches were amazing.

The beaches were amazing. Places we ate that I recommend, That's Amore, great food and lots of ambiance, Diamante Rosso, Pinturicchio has great fish dishes and the best gelato was at Gelati Tonino.

Tropea is a beautiful town and a beautiful beach resort.

Tropea is a beautiful town and a beautiful beach resort. There was a lovely atmosphere there. Nice restaurants and reasonable priced. While spectacular there are lots of steps between the beach and the town which may not suit some people.

Such and incredible place!

Such and incredible place! It ticks all the boxes: reachable by train/airplane, beautiful village, incredible beach. You can easily reach by boat the Eolian islands or via train Scilla and Reggio Calabria.

Our host Mariano was exceptional, our room was clean, the a/c worked well, the bed was super comfortable and a fully cooked breakfast was a delightful surprise. The best breakfast we have had in Italy since arriving three weeks ago. Highly recommend. Thank you Mariano.

It was out of the hustle of the city but a very short drive to get into the city if you wanted. Staff were extremely friendly and the property was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was the best we had in Italy so far.
