I loved the views and the variety of spots to relax from high up in town to down close to the sea. Uber is working very bed there.
Uber is working very bed there. You'd better ask your hotel for a transfer from the airport and back. We paid around 70-80 euros for this service. Tropea is a very touristic place, and prices to rent an umbrella with 2 beds on the beach are just crazy (25-60 euros per day in high season!) You'd better take your own beach umbrellas here :) Many "tourist trap" restaurants, but you can find good places to eat if you choose 4.5 and higher ratings on Google Maps. Tropea is a summer paradise: small historic centre with beautiful sea view. Lot´s of excellent restaurants and little shops. Everything is in walking distance, but there is a lot´s of stairs to the beach. Also old streets are covered cobblestones. Angelo and his sisters are fantastic hosts providing an expansive breakfast and all assistance necessary to find local tours, boat hire, beaches and restaurants. Pool and grounds are a welcome respite after a busy day of touring. Pino who runs the B&B is the best host we have ever encountered he would be at our door at the appointed time with a wonderful Breakfast each morning!!
