I love this hotel. My stay at this hotel for this review was for convenience. It is located next door to the Vasto-San Salvo train station. Great place to stay to catch an early morning train. I know the Adriatic Sea is across the street, but I have never walked over on any of my stays to see it. I am sure it is beautiful. The room is wonderful as well as the staff. The room has a water kettle and surprisingly a small refrigerator (a rarity in italian hotels).

Alfredo and his team took such wonderful care of us, even though we were only there for one night. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Dinner was lovely and Emiliano our waiter was super-attentive. The room was newly re-furbished and perfect for our needs. We would happily visit again.

The weather was not on our side and the end of season meant that many of the local businesses were closed or had minimal manning. That said, we had a lovely time exploring and moving between the sea and mountain villages. Would definitely come back but earlier in the year next time.

We went to a local canteen-like-restaurant by the marina, where all the locals go. I had lasagne which turned out to be fish and prawn. I was surprised but it was gorgeous. They served it cold, but you can ask them to heat it up (we found out afterwards). We were staying in Vasto town but arrived by train and mistakenly got off 2 stops further along. There are several versions of Vasto.... but we were able to get a bus to the marina... eat.. and then we got the bus again to Vasto town as it was uphill, it was hot, and we had luggage.

We loved that it was vibrant and had the authentic Italian experience as compared to some of the larger cities which are more touristy. The food was fabulous, fresh and reasonably priced at the local restaurants! The local architecture, cultural events and variety of shops along with the beaches made it a true hidden gem of the Adriatic!

Weather was hot in September, our apartment was right in the centre absolutely beautiful. Beaches were a short distance away and lovely. The old or historic part of Vasto is beautiful. A small town with lovely restaurants and shops. 3 days in Vasto is ample.

A beautiful old town absolutely full of history and with the bonus of spectacular views of the Adriatic Sea. Plenty of restaurants and small local shops. Can definitely recommend La Votta Di Mare for dinner for it's local cuisine and friendly staff

I love this hotel. My stay at this hotel for this review was for convenience. It is located next door to the Vasto-San Salvo train station. Great place to stay to catch an early morning train. I know the Adriatic Sea is across the street, but I have never walked over on any of my stays to see it. I am sure it is beautiful. The room is wonderful as well as the staff. The room has a water kettle and surprisingly a small refrigerator (a rarity in italian hotels).

Perfect position for exploring the town of Vasto and also its beaches. Even in the city center easily accessible by car. close to the bus stop of all bus lines to Vasto Marina and Punta Aderci. Owing to the kind and helpful staff we felt really welcomed in this hotel and town as well.

Beautiful boutique hotel, fantastic location on the main terrace of the town overlooking the sea, great room with a view, short walk to many good restaurants. Also, free electric bicycles to ride on the nearby bike path along the water.
