An island you'll fall in love with. A boat tour and a 4-5 night stay are highly recommended, as the island is very small. A visit to the Roman cisterns and Villa Giulia is also recommended.

Ventotene is an island of relaxation and absolute peace. Recommended for those who truly need to disconnect from the rest of the world! Getting around is easy on foot, and all hotels have transportation (if far from the center).

It's a very pretty island, small and quaint.
It's a very pretty island, small and quaint. Nice little restaurants, good food, crystal-clear waters, though with dark sand, and reasonable prices. I'd like to return in September for the feast of Santa Candida, which I hear is very popular. I'll definitely be back, because I loved it!

Ventotene is a beautiful island, but overpriced for restaurants, bars (even a simple breakfast!), and supermarket shopping! Avoid driving, as the roads are very narrow and unsuitable for those who aren't used to driving. Ventotene is easily explored on foot! The sea is spectacular!

A welcoming island, easy to explore on foot. A migration destination for many bird species. The migration museum itself is particularly enjoyable (a full tour led by specialized staff is recommended, culminating in the opportunity to see the bird ringing). Out of season, it's not easy to take boat trips or visit the nearby island of Santo Stefano.

Lovely island. Really excellent food at this hotel, especially at dinner. Good staff. Great shuttle service. Bring your mosquito spray however -the whole island is crawling with them.

This little gem of a hotel has the prettiest views. The bed was comfortable. It had great air conditioning. Everyone we met was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
