The property is conveniently very close to the train station. It is very clean and the staff are great, especially Evelyn who went over and beyond to help us print our train tickets for us. She also facilitated an early check in for us. Our room was on the top floor with a balcony, and it was great to sit out there enjoying a glass of wine whilst watching the world go by. There is also a restaurant downstairs where we had drinks and snacks too. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pastries. The hotel operates an honesty system for drinks, and this is very handy if you need a drink and do not wish to go out. It is very easy to reach the beach area by just walking out of the hotel, past the train station and onto the main street all the way to the water. Although the train station is very close, we were not affected by the passing trains at all. In fact, we quite enjoyed watching them from our quint balcony! There are a few outdoor areas to sit and relax. However, were there in the cold weather and did not get the opprtunity to do so. We were really made to feel at home at the Pensione Sorriso, and we will happily return should next time we are in 5Terre.

The location is central and just 5 minutes walk from Venazza station. The staff at Cinque Terra Riveria are fantastic and personally took us to the apartment. It has been nicely renovated and decorated, and very clean and functional. The patio overlooks the main plaza to the water and a great spot for a coffee, glass of wine etc

I stayed 2 days/3 nights in Vernazza.

I stayed 2 days/3 nights in Vernazza. I hiked the trails and visited the other villages and Vernazza was my favourite (2nd Manarola). The sunset was beautiful. Thankfully not too many stairs to get to my room. The trains were easy to use and quite frequent. There were excellent views from the trails. Would definitely go back if I could.

Service was wonderful. We got picked up at the train station and shown directly to our accommodation. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Location is quiet and extremely close to everything. I'm not sure if this is offered all the time, but since La Mala is part of the sustainable program of the Cinque Terre National Park, they gave us an incredible discount on the Cinque Terre Card that included unlimited train travel. I would stay here again!

Good location especially for properties on the Cinque Terre which are typically hanging off the side of a steep hill, and up dozens of stairs. This first floor apartment is one street back from the water and restaurants. Good facilities, amazing bathroom set into the rock. Pod coffee machine was very welcome, along with some supplies for first breakfast. Vernazza is one of the best locations on this part of the coast.

Very peaceful spot to relax after walking around the cinque terre. And a gorgeous view to wake up to. Handy that it is on one of the trails. As long as you have a decent torch the trail from Vernazza is nice and easy during the evening/night (I even did it with three bags after missing the last bus). Comfy bed, good shower.

Vernazza was very beautiful and the check-in was pretty easy. The windy roads to the parking lot, located a little above vernazza, were also really fun! The airco made sure the room was cool quickly. The shuttle service and parking lot were very fast and friendly with their service just like the hotel staff.
