Fabulous place , we didn’t have time for the tour to see the making of the balsamic vinegars but they did open shop to enable us to buy them having sampled them at breakfast. There was no restaurant on site but we were recommended to go to cantina garibaldi a five minute drive away where we had one of the best meals we had during our whole three week italian trip.

This is a gorgeous restored old italian farmhouse. The decor and attention to detail were appreciated. We were able to walk on country roads for some exercise. Plus the property has chairs and benches interspersed for lounging, reading, or enjoying the sunset while eating charcuterie and drinking wine. The location is central in the region with easy drives to Parma, Reggio Emilio, Modena, etc. The host, Maicol, was incredibly helpful and made us dinner reservations multiple times and gave us lots of tourist advice.

Absolutely stunning place. Even they had difficult weather conditions and a power cut - they still made it possible for us to come. The Apartment was huge and so comfortable. Breakfast was very yummie. Our dogs had a ball running around in the snow.
