We had an unforgettable stay at the villa. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay—clean, tidy, nice bads and well-equipped in general. The view across tge channel to Sicily was absolutely stunning. The villa also has a beautiful cozy backyard with lovely flowers, and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. There's a small children's playground. We also loved the comfortable loungers and the wonderful terrace for outdoor relaxation. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, even with our late check-in and last-minute booking. We were very satisfied and made some wonderful friends. Additionally, the sea and beach were very close by, not crowded at all, so we enjoyed the beautiful sea every day. All necessary amenities, like supermarkets, were nearby, and the town of Scilla was just a 15-minute drive away. We will definitely return!

Great location 👌 apartment is so well equipped , very spacious, and spotless. Very comfortable beds ,soft towels. Brilliant coffee:))))) Enrico, the owner, has made every effort to get our stay as comfortable as possible. We can't be more grateful for that . He was very helpful, and it was a pleasure to listen his stories about Calabria ,Sicily, and history .He booked us the table in authentic Italian restaurant where we experienced great Calabrian food and live music .I can recommend this exceptional apartment with all my heart.

Beautiful view of the ocean and Sicily, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The apartment was so well decorated and in a quiet location. Our host was extremely helpful and hospitable, she answered all questions promptly and went above and beyond to meet our needs. We were treated kindly and made to feel so welcome. The seafront area is really nice, with a great view across to Sicily and the Straits of Messina. We didn't find a lot of dining options down there, but there are apparently a couple of good restaurants in the neighbourhood. The traffic, as in all Italian towns and cities, is pretty frantic, and parking isn't easy at all, but it's worth a visit/stop en route to the ferry for Sicily, as it has quite a nice atmosphere and outlook.

Villa San Giovanni is a place of transit.

Villa San Giovanni is a place of transit. It is very small, not very pretty and when we were there, the "lungo mare" was still under construction. Villa San Giovanni is perfect as a base to go to another place, as the trains are well connected and easy but don't expect something from the city itself.

Well only selected Villa as a stop point on our journey up to Amalfi but the property was fantastic and such amazing value. We’re happy we did stay as Villa San Giovanni is a sweet town which would be great to return to again

This is a lovely, comfortable hotel with wonderful views and the feeling of a quiet retreat from the world. The standards of housekeeping are very high. Breakfast was was generous and good. The swimming pool was splendid!
