Hotel Edelweiss was fantastic. We stayed at the end of the summer season after 6 days of Trekking on the AV1. Pecol/Hotel Edelweiss is an great exit strategy from AV1. The entire town was quiet. Edelweiss welcomed us in. The family that runs the hotel is incredibly kind and accommodating. We left early due to bus schedule back toward Venice. They accommodated our early departure by moving up breakfast. Their croissants were the best we've ever had. Great coffee/espresso. Couldn't ask for more. Stay here!

It is clean and very well equipped. We stayed here for 6 nights. There are two bedrooms and a living room. To reach the main attractions (Seceda, Lago di Braies, Tre Cime di Lavaredo), we had to drive between 1–3 hours. I recommend double-checking the roads before you go, as some can be narrow and dangerous.

Rifugio Palafavera...! The best rifugio in Alta via 1. We were having a tough time hiking when we visited Palafavera because of long rain walk and also because of my husband's sickness(tonsilitis). But arriving there, everything went well. The hotel facility was so good, we had a really deep sleep, and he recovered from the cold and had a good condition. Bed was really clean and shower facility was really clean and cozy. Even the dinner was really good. I recommend strongly alta via 1 trekkers to visit here and have a good rest of the middle of trekking course.

We visited the hotel during summer and it's well located to do a lot of outdoor activities. All the staff is super friendly and available in particular the personnel at the restaurant and the swimming pool. The breakfasts and dinners are delicious and plenty of choice including alternatives for the kids. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool to relax after a day out or if the weather is not good.

The Zoldo Valley is very beautiful, partly because it hasn't yet been overrun by mass tourism. There are good places to stay, even at affordable prices. Beautiful peaks can be reached via well-maintained trails, with hikes of varying lengths depending on your fitness level. Fantastic views of Civetta and Pelmo.

Beautiful, nestled between two great mountains (Pelmo and Civetta), with a wide variety of trails for both beginners and experts. Lifts are open, and mountain huts with restaurants are open. Stunning scenery. Also ideal for families with children.

Spectacular views!

Spectacular views! The slopes in the Civetta area are very beautiful and suitable for all levels. There are several very beautiful, long, and challenging runs. Excellent food in the mountain huts. I would recommend eating at the traditional restaurant L'Insonnia in Forno di Zoldo for typical local dishes. I would also recommend the pizzeria Da Christian in Zoldo Alto.

The hotel owner was so kind and helpful to me. As a woman - solo traveler, the hotel place was super safe. I was there for Dolomiti Extreme Trail Running Race, after the race ended, i wanted to come back to Longarone on Sunday morning but i learned that on Sundays there is no public tranfers to there. So the hotel owner asked other guests to take me with them to Longarone. I am still so appraciated for this help. Thank you so much. If I attend the same race again in the future, i will stay with them for sure :) See you. -Damla from Turkey

The Hotel is very well maintained, clean and nicely located. We started from there to a 4-day-hike. The breakfast was very good and the reception really flexible. The staff was in general extremly nice - we were able to arrive late at night and were even allowed to park our car for free at their parking lot during our 4-day-hike. Thanks again!
