The side of Blue mountains you can explore from staying on...
The side of Blue mountains you can explore from staying on site or staying in Kingston and doing day trips to the mountains. Ideally hire a car, as driving is tricky but any reasonable driver can manage it. There are are lots of hiking places and nature trails. The Blue mountains are amazing and good for nature lovers. Catherines peak can be hiked from the Army base on the A road. However, the paid 'attractions' in general, are exploitative of the tourists. Suggest just enjoy nature and don't go for hyped up tours or attractions. A coffee tour of Crighton coffee plantation was a waste of dollars. We had dinner at Strawberry hill hotel.
