When you imagine that you travel to a friends who lives at the village in Europe, what would you expect? Probably village life, which is different than the one in the city. What would you expect when you travel to desert? Probably much less confortable place than you can find here at MalakoRum. Very confortable rooms, european type of toilet, hot shower (we vere there just at the end of calendar year - so in winter time). Wow and such delicious dinner freshly cooked by the hosts. The stay for us was like visiting friends who moved to desert to farm there. So we expected animals around, and we loved it. When you see beduins next the desert streets they have also animals around. So the experience from the desert life was way more much authentic then the games played to tourist elsevere. We expected and loved that touch of authenticity. Jo was very kind all the time to explain all the things we were curious about - desert life,geology, history etc. and she turn to be very rich well of knowledge. She offered us a hiking tour in the mountains around and it was unexpectedly experience with a little climbing at the top of near hill top with wonderful view. Jafar may seem to be harsh and bitter, as the desert fruit are, on the first glance. But when you let to know him a little bit more you will find the cool and broad hearted man you can love. We had four-wheeler car so we wanted to travel more in desert, but without any experience of desert ride. Jo and Jafar helped us to plan our little desert trip, just for the time we had. That trip was also wonderful experience which we would have not undergo without the help of our "desert" friends. Thank you for encouraging and helping.

I was impressed by the hospitality of our hosts. Being in the desert was magical. They wanted us to enjoy it to the fullest. They recommended an overnight trip to the desert and a six-hour tour. We also loved the bubble. It is air-conditioned, allowing you to cool your bubble or warm it up if you are visiting during cooler times.

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine Jordanian hospitality, and Abdulla, our host, went above and beyond to ensure every guest felt cared for. His attentiveness, warmth, and impeccable service truly elevated our entire experience. The camp itself is wonderfully relaxing, a peaceful haven surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the desert. One of the highlights of our stay was the stargazing after dinner. The night skies in Wadi Rum are absolutely spectacular, and watching the stars in such silence and clarity felt magical. The camp also offers a variety of activities to explore the stunning landscapes of Wadi Rum, from camel rides and jeep tours to the unforgettable experience of a hot air balloon ride. We highly recommend this camp to anyone visiting Wadi Rum. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, we would have loved to extend such a perfect escape. An unforgettable experience in every sense!

I advise you in this wonderful camp. The staff was beautiful and the view of the room was very amazing and the food was. Delicious, especially the zurb, and I advise you in activities inside the desert, especially the four-hour tour, the star tour at night, and camel riding in the morning. Rue Armouni Camp is a wonderful camp by all standards. From the moment of booking, Mr. Abdullah contacted us and provided us with all the information about the place of stay, meals, and timings. He also gave us a suggestion for activities such as jeep tours, balloon rides, and stargazing with several dinners that fit our stay. The dinner was delicious and varied. We loved the traditional dish they cooked underground. The rooms are beautiful and clean and contain everything a personح needs, including a refrigerator, air conditioner, and hairdryer. The bathroom is large and clean. Everything was perfect.

We've had a really nice stay at Raja Camp, the place was just amazing, you're straight in the desert! The food was lovely. The owner knows a lot about the region as well, he is a very hospitable man. It's also perfect when you're hiking the Jordan trail, because it's straight on the trail.

Staying with Ali was one of the best experiences of our stay in Jordan. This is not a hotel, we were welcomed into his family and home. His mother made some amazing food, we had a lot of fun during the evenings in the tent and tried out playing the Rebab. He also helped us with the activities in Wadi Rum without being pushy at all. We ended up going camel riding with his brother for just 2 JD each and the next day we did a hike to Jebel Kharazah which I can very much recommend. We stayed in a newly built house which was simple but clean. Also you have a lot of space. It's an amazing place to stay and experience the hospitality and culture of Beduins.
