Very comfortable, walking distance to Petra… facolities are modern, everything clean. Staff also very friendly and helpful. ahmed allowed us to check-in early ( 9am) and mahmoud gave us some of the dinner he cooked when he saw us eating at the restaurant. Ahmed serveds us generous breakfast. Amazing stay! Recommended

The breakfast was very diverse with both local and international options. The staff was kind and gave us great tips for restaurants and visiting Petra. They provide you with water and snacks in your room, both sweet and savory, along with fresh fruit! If you have a car it’s easy to drive and park at the hotel and at Petra entrance. If you are without a car and tired from walking, there are taxis too.

The hotel is run by a lovely couple and they did everything to fullfill our wishes :) We've got a dinner for extra, it was amazing and a lot :) They packed our breakfast it was also good. I would choose this hotel again. The view is also marvellous.

The best place to stay in Petra. The private rooms are absolutely amazing. The hostel organized a special Iftar dinner (we visited during Ramadan) and they had various delicious food options at the rooftop. The rooftop was a great place to chill out and enjoy the stunning sunset after wondering around Petra. We could park our car in front of the hostel for free. Tip if you have a rental car: drive to the free parking spot near Petra instead of walking; it’s a quite steep walk down to the entrance.

We liked the location of the hotel in the center of the town, it had beautiful view of the city from the roof top restaurant. There was also the possibility to buy tickets for the Petra by night show directly at the hotel which helped us to save time. We also liked the small seating area in front of the hotel. We had a welcome soft drink at the arrival which was a nice gesture. The beds were comfy, the AC was working well. The rooms and bathrooms where clean with toiliteries. The staff was nice and helpful.

Our day in Wadi Musa was truly unforgettable — exploring Petra from sunrise to sunset felt like stepping into another world. The walk through the Siq, that first breathtaking glimpse of the Treasury, the climb up countless steps to viewpoints… every bit of it was worth the aching legs. By evening, the city glowed with desert colors and we wrapped up the night with sore feet, full hearts, and endless photos.

Absolutely beautiful place, but lots of scammers!

Absolutely beautiful place, but lots of scammers! Locals were very pushy. At first they are overly friendly, but this quickly turns to rude and aggressive if you don't tip, they will lie about directions and then insist they be your guide. Even if you say no they ask for Tip. You just need to be aware of your surroundings and try not to let the scammers bother you.

I loved Wadi Musa for its welcoming people, stunning desert...

I loved Wadi Musa for its welcoming people, stunning desert landscape, and its closeness to Petra. If anything “could be better,” it would simply be having even more time to explore and enjoy everything the town and Petra has to offer. Ask about the transfer that drops you off at the top near the Monastery - this saves you walking up and then back down the same route.

Petra was the main highlight.

Petra was the main highlight. I would recommend spending at least 2 days here since 1 day isn't enough to capture the full experience. We ate at an excellent restaurant called "My mother's recipe" which had the most excellent food we ate in all of Jordan. Wadi Musa is very hilly, so be prepared for a lot of uphill walking unless you get a taxi or a rental car.

Everything was perfect, I recommend everyone to stay at least 2 days , city is lively, full of restaurants and shops like a beach cities in Europe so it’s good to have a time to spend in the city and enjoy your journey ! Don’t forget to go to the cave restaurant which is just before the entrance of Petra visit center , an amazing cave

This is a must visit place.

This is a must visit place. The natural beauty, Petra and rest of the nabatean ruins are out of the world. trek to the monastery is worth the effort. It will be uncomfortable in summer You need to spend at least two days. Petra at night is the most amazing experience. The views from Petra to wadi Rum is spectacular. Absolutely on everyone’s bucket list Food, Jordanian people and hospitality is wonderful. It is a safe place!!!

We were “upgraded” to the Movenpick Petra in Wadi Musa with less than 24 hours notice. This was not what we wanted nor was it expected and we weren’t given any options. we had already spent 2 nights in a wonderful family hotel in Wadi Musa and were looking forward to a night of luxury out of town. So we did not feel it was an “Upgrade” to be moved to a hotel in town. Consequently I have no idea about the Nabatean Castle Hotel. the staff in Wadi Musa Movenpick were all courteous and the hotel is adequate.

Petra Guest House Hotel – special We carefully chose this hotel for its location and facilities and over 3 nights it did not disappoint. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Great room (with a balcony overlooking the mountains). Tremendous staff: On the front desk Hanadi and Ibrahm Hanza really helpful (arranged a difficult transit in bad weather to Wadi Rum with driver Ahmed). Amer and the Cave Bar crew (including Zayed) and restaurant team. Omar exceptional. All first class.

This family run hotel is located close and in walking distance to Petra Visitor Centre. The hotel is on a hill with a nice view over Wadi Musa. Small garden with a patio where breakfast and dinner are served. The room has a good size and everything was clean. The owner Belal is a really friendly guy who was always welcoming and very helpful in organising my visit to Petra. I had a great time!
