Itadaki was one of our absolutte favorite places to stay during our 4 weeks travel across Japan. It was a very quiet and very pleasent place to stay after much sightseeing. We highly recommend that you atleast once during your order one of the Chefs menus for dinner - its was absolutely superb and we enjoyed every bite. Finally Suzuki was a very welcoming and execellent host. We had good talks about hikings and got recommendations, which we appreciated.

The hosts were wonderful, taking their time to explain everything in detail. The sauna, available for a small additional fee, is absolutely worth it. The setting is beautiful, perfect for enjoying nature and family time. The facilities are excellent, offering everything you might need, including a water purifier. You can also watch Disney and Netflix on a big projector from a cozy sofa, which was perfect for our rainy evening. The highlight of my stay was getting a tattoo. Reina is an exceptional artist. We chatted, she showed her portfolio, and the next morning she created/placed my tattoo. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating. If you're looking for a local artist who specializes in fine line tattoos, Reina is the one to see!

I had a single room that was efficiently laid out. I appreciated the fan in the bathroom. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner were effective, easy to rinse off, and without a cloying, heavy perfume. The "cold box" appeared to need ice on one side and food on the other side. The pillows were comfortable. The staff were great at finding the perfect location for my room. I smoke and asked to be situated near a smoking "booth" - a small room with good airflow, ashtrays, and closed off so the smoke doesn`t get into the hallway. They put me across the hall from one of these rooms. All rooms are non-smoking, so I was glad to have convenient access to one of these special rooms. They are located on several floors. While smoking is frowned upon by most people, it is nice to know that smokers have a place to go and the smoke will not bother anyone else. Although I can speak a little Japanese, they quickly located a bilingual staff member to make communication easy. He even offered me his personal phone number in case of problems after he left (I thanked him but didn`t take it, as I think people should not be expected to work outside of their planned schedule). The rest of the staff used translation apps. The breakfast was incredible. It was a buffet with a wide range of food: I had salad, yogurt, dessert, bacon, eggs, miso soup, rice, curry, steamed dumplings, salmon, mackerel, fruit salad, and a variety of casseroles. The pork/tomato sauce/cheese casserole was especially tasty. This is only what I sampled - I avoid carbs and there were several containers with bread and similar items. Both times I had breakfast, I didn`t feel hungry again until dinnertime. I needed business documents completed and chose to do this at a quiet time the night before I left rather than at checkout time when the staff would be busy. They were surprised but completed the special forms at my request. The staff were cheerful and helpful.

Excellent and restful stay - the hotel is closed to the train station. The staff spoke English and were very welcoming ! Close (2min walk) to an onsen too. The hotel area also includes a food court and a coworking space. Would definitely come back to have a rest in Yaizu.

Beautiful location, food and drinks were superb and the staff were lovely.

It is located in a nice area of Shizuoka with stores and a movie theatre nearby. The staff was very friendly. The room was super clean with a nice bathroom. The in-house onsen was amazing. It was great! We would like to come back next time. Thank you very much!
