Excellent room, even more spacious and beautiful than in the pictures. Very well equipped, and there's a huge supermarket next door which is very convenient. There were even games and coloring books which the kids appreciated. We had a great stay!

Great service.. We had some hiccups at check-in but they adjusted everything very promptly and were very welcoming The onsen is phenomenal and really love the freebies - free ramen at night, ice cream post onsen and the welcome drink downstairs and snack in the minibar The rooms while not the largest are so well planned, they feel very spacious unlike most hotels in Japan Overall excellent and I'd mostly like to stay in the Onyado chain

Takai the owner was sooooo helpful, it made all the difference to my stay in Matsumoto. I loved the book he made describing the different restaurants and what their specialities were. So much love and hard work have gone into making this place special. Takai was patient and answered all of my questions and went out of his way to help me. I am very grateful for his kindness and consideration. Lots of eating and drinking places are only a few minutes away as is the castle. It's also only about 15 minutes walk from the station so even with a suitcase I could walk here.

What a great surprise. Excellent location, few minutes walk from both bus n train station. We could store all our luggage before check in with ease n come back later. Bedrooms were surprisingly big for a Japanese budget hotel. Enough space even for our snowboard bags. Note that im talking about Japanese standards. Double bed was small but enough for me n my husband ( we are not super big n tall). Everything worked fine and they also have free bikes for rental which is very convenient.

The location was excellent, with a walking distance to the bus and train stations. I walked everywhere. The staff were friendly and courteous, the room was a good size for me as a solo traveller. It was clean, comfortable and quiet.
