The breakfast was good. The location is perfect if you are okay with being on the mainland. As we were visiting Naoshima, the location could have been better, but we had no choice as all hotels on the island were packed, and this location was then ideal.

To me at the age of 80 this is the new kind of accommodation (unlike traditional hotel or ryokan in Japan) which meets our requirements. Being a self contained lodge with all necessary facilities such as washing/dry machine and fully equipped kitchen we did't miss anything more. Since it was a low season many of local restaurants were not fully open, so self catering is good to go.

This small 4 room hotel was fabulous! there's Cafe Kitsune right next door, and few steps away is Korakuen Garden and a boardwalk alongside a beautiful river. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a room with a big balcony and our son loved it.

-room was spacious,modern and clean. -hotel is in a central location(about a 10 minute walk to the big Aeon) -staff were very attentive and accommodating. Osaki brought up our luggage and asked if we had found our luggage since it was delayed from the airport. Very diligent. -there were pieces of art on every floor of the hotel.
