We booked this hotel due to a change of plans. We needed to be next to the Shinkansen station since we had a early morning traing. The hotel position is very convenient. We booked two rooms since they were listed as single rooms, but honestly we could easily fit two people. We stayed in a smaller rooms during our travel in Japan, usually listed as double room/couple rooms, but were not next to comparison. Bathroom size was also above average. They provide free breakfast, but if you cannot stay they provide a small take away bag with some bread products. As much as the gesture is appreciated, I would have liked a little more that some simple bread. Perhaps a sandwich would do. Staff very nice and welcoming, they do speak english.

It’s a special experience for foreigners like us to stay in this hotel, it’s old and bit outdated,no English at all, it’s purely for Japanese, but we found it very pleasant and comfortable.

At this price point, the hotel fantastic. It was immaculate, new, clean, w/ fabulous WiFi speeds, wonderful shower and bath facilities. Beds were firm but comfortable. Perfect climate control. Excellent amenities. Wonderful included breakfast at the nearby morning market (you are given a ticket that gives you the choice from a few select restaurants at the morning market). Incredibly close to Hakodate Station.

It is a fully facilitated one-bedroom apartment, spacious and with a full kitchen and a balcony that comes with a great view! The location was also pretty great. It is only a short walk to the Hakodate JR station and the Red Brick Warehouse (within 10mins). The tram stop is roughly 3min walk away door-to-door. We really enjoyed the apartment.
