It's nice to be able to experience a Japanese home indirectly. The staff at Japanese hotels are generally friendly, but the staff at this hotel are very friendly. Checking in at the table instead of the front desk is also great. It's also a great experience to be able to drink tea in the tatami room of the hotel room. In particular, the breakfast is very good.
