Your hosts Usan and Masumi are amazingly friendly and wonderful hosts. They cook delicious food for you and help you enjoy your stay. The location is very peaceful, with nearby beaches, sights and ports.

Incredibly kind-hearted hosts that went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible. Renting the scooters was also made so easy and was definitely the best way to get around the beautiful island. Iki was a true highlight of our trip to Japan, wish we could have stayed longer!

The sightseeing boat was great.

The sightseeing boat was great. I was soothed by the emerald green and crystal clear water. I was deeply impressed by how beautiful Nagasaki's ocean is. However, it was disappointing to see so much trash on the shore from the boat. There are restrooms on the beach at Tatsunoshima, but they were closed when I got off, which was inconvenient. There are restrooms on the boat, but I would like to see them on the island as well. It would be more convenient for elderly people if the stairs leading up to the island were a little lower.

I've been stranded here while visiting my hometown for a...

I've been stranded here while visiting my hometown for a memorial service. Jetfoils and ferries are out of service for two days. My stay was comfortable, and I was able to relax and meet up with people I wanted to see, but I'm starting to worry about work. The jetfoil is well past its useful life, so I'm worried about it breaking down. It used to be convenient to fly to Fukuoka, but now I rely on the jetfoil. If the Venus is scrapped, it will be a matter of life and death for the remote island of Iki, so I hope Kyushu Yusen will support the construction (purchase?) of a new ship.

Iki is a relatively small island, but it is essential to...

Iki is a relatively small island, but it is essential to have your own transport to get around because public transport is very limited and deficient. When we went there was practically no one there. It has beautiful wild beaches, where you can be practically alone and have contact with nature.
