We loved the island of Awaji and would have loved to stay longer. While Picnic Garden has a distinctive summer feel, the glamping tents and beds were super warm. The food offerings in and around the accommodation were plenty and delicious, not to mention the breakfast hamper supplied by the property. We travelled the length of the West Coast to return to Kobe, and I was picking up Miami feels. Lots of bright colours, plenty of outdoor dining options, cute little container ice cream, and, coffee shops but all with a distinctive Japanese flair with a sense of summer fun. I would visit again.

Great location to unwind and relax. Nice kitchen, washing, sleeping and relaxing facilities. Seaview is a big plus. The rabbit theme is really cute and gives something extra.

The whole experience was a delight. The view out of over the inland sea from our room and the balcony, the way breakfast was served in our room in little baskets, the pool and sauna and above all, the calm ambience of the place were great. I have stayed in much grander hotels but have never enjoyed a hotel experience more.

First of all, there's no dedicated parking lot on the...

First of all, there's no dedicated parking lot on the premises, making it difficult to carry luggage when it rains. To make matters worse, you have to navigate the rocky outcrops that make it difficult to roll suitcases onto the driveway. When I finally managed to get inside, the door was filled with a foul odor, and the strong air freshener placed in the entrance hall, as if to mask it with the smell, was enough to give me a headache. The glass panel on the living room table was falling off, making it dangerous, and the windows were covered in spider webs and insects. The bathroom was filthy, and there weren't even any dishes or trays. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the place hadn't been cleaned at all. I never want to stay here again. Owner, please study other accommodations with similar conditions. I'll never use Booking.com again.
