The room is nice and small. The hotel is quite new. It offers every amenity you could think of, just no washing machine (there is a clean washin salon down the road. The little breakfast is a great treat. You can park in front of the door.

Muji style house with 4 bedrooms was excellent and very clean. Parking onsite and short walking distance to authentic Jap sushi restaurant and convenience store. Love the stay here even though it was a short stopover.

We stayed during spring and there were easy and beautiful walks along the river and to the nearby lake. The host kindly showed us on the map the nearby walks. We saw deers, foxes and birds along the walk. Very peaceful and lovely! It appears that we could be the only guests during our stay and we were given private use of both the indoor and outdoor Onsen during our 2 night stay. Communication with the hosts was through Google translate but it was easy and the hosts were very accommodating and kind when we were late for check in. There is a small convenience store run by a sweet elderly couple right across the street- sells basic snacks, ice cream and souvenirs.

Impressive view of the lake from dining area and room. Spacious, well equipped rooms and lovely dinner and breakfast. You can hire canoes right next to the lake. The outdoor onsen had an incredible view.

The service from their staff were exceptional, I brought a melon and they helped me to cut up nicely for my family. The staff at Hotel Reus were very polite and helpful in general. Facilities, rooms were very clean and new. While the room maybe small, the beds were comfortable and we didn’t feel it was noisy even though the hotel was right beside the road. Breakfast maybe limited in variety but enough for a healthy meal. They have a pay as you use washer and dryer on the 2nd floor which was very useful. Overall a good value for money stop over hotel beside the road.
