It is a wonderful Onsen hotel in the heart of Nagano. The people working there a wonderful, helpful, the politeness is beyond every standard, even for Japan. A wonderful place to stay and explore Iida. The Cider Barn was warm and welcoming. Bathrooms were spotless, the food was great and we were really looked after. To explore Japanese ciders here was a real treat.

The hosts are very lovely. They have bbq facility on site (1500 yen fee) which I highly recommend! It’s nice to have outdoor bbq. However, keep in mind that you will need to bring your own ingredients. To access this accomodation you will require a car as it is a bit far from the downtown.

The house is gorgeous, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The owner's attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Bed was firm but extremely comfortable. I had my best night's sleep in ages. The bread provided at breakfast was exceptional. The onsen was small but very clean and adequate. I'll be seeking stays at Super Hotels going forward.
