They have 2 baths and 1 pool with the best scenery. At the check out they even took us to the train station. I highly recommend this place to anyone, the dinner and breakfast is a must try experience. The beach is a 7 minute walk.

Takashi and family run a wonderful hotel, everybody was so polite and friendly. Each room is slightly different, I stayed in Asuka which had a classic nautical vibe which I loved. Great views and a delightful outdoor shower/bath. The two spas onsite were a lovely experience at the end of the day. Oh and the breakfast was amazing!

What are delightful family stay. The pool was large, clean and with beautiful surroundings. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was very well located near Shimoda within walking distance or a very short drive to the town, a multitude of stunning beaches, and lovely hikes (walks) by the 7 waterfalls region. The washer/dryer was also quite reasonably priced at 100-200 yen per wash or dry. I wished we could have stayed longer. Of note, this is one of the few pools in the area that was open so early before the Jspanese summer holiday. We went in early July.

As soon as you enter the hotel, you can feel the modern and jazzy atmosphere. The design is full of atmosphere. The room and open-air hot spring are very clean. Every employee works very hard with a smile. The dinner is fresh and delicious. I will come again

Nice traditional Japanese room with a direct ocean view looking over Shirahama beach! Exceptional cleanness level. Traditional Japanese snack was prepared in the room, which is a very thoughtful touch.

The hotel seems very oldschool, which we found charming. The interoir was off age but everything was clean and fine. For the price and location i would stay here Again 100 percent. I quess the bad ratings are from People who is used to New hotels.
