Kawazu is a place I visit every year because of the sakura...
Kawazu is a place I visit every year because of the sakura festival. Of course this year the festival was officially cancelled, but other than the cancelation being on paper nothing changed - cherry trees still in bloom, food and omiyage stands everywhere, but many other stands with temperature checks. Kawazu offers quite a lot, being the location of a novel from a Nobel prize winning Japanese author, waterfalls, garden, hot springs and a calm atmosphere.
