The setting was beautiful. Smoke from the hot springs billowing out from our bedroom view. You could see it from the small hot tub on the balcony of our room. They have a large breakfast buffet if you want. The personal hot tubs were very scenic. Free Ramen at 10pm. We really loved staying here.

The staff was super nice and helpful, we went to Onsen very late and had basically a private onsen for us since it was so late, and the area looked super lovely. Staying a Yuki-san’s place was a highlight of our time in Japan. The room was comfortable and spacious, the outdoor footbath was amazing, the house was very clean and well-maintained, and Yuki-san was so kind, even going out of his way to help us with a local car rental. And Yuki-san’s cat is super shy but very cute.

The place is truly authentic, ppl may describe it as old but it's can't be more wrong. I would describe it as rustic and serene, especially with the river beside it. Yes!! A running river, not much of a great sight but the sound of flowing water bring peace to your soul. Also, there's a private and excusive onsen beside the river, you just have to reserve it. Now to the most important aspect, the staff of Seiryuso.The hotel manager, Kajiki san set the benchmark for top notch hospitality. He has a bubbling personality, always giving out good vibes and positive energy. Always ready to serve and provide service. Always service with a smile.😊😊😊. Well, Japanese are known to provide great service but this is a whole other level. A special shout-out to the restaurant crew, specifically the service staff, didn't manage to get all their names other than matsuyi san. Kudos to the other gentlemen that provided the service.
