The beach was the most beautiful beach on the mainland of Okinawa, the staff were the best I have experience in the whole of Okinawa, they were just so friendly and overly helpful and spoke fluent English. The hotel breakfast buffet had a lot of food to choose from, the hotel restaurant was delicious, rooms were clean and spacious, love the bath salts in the hotel room and the sunsets on the beach was absolutely surreal.

Bit of a mixed one, this one and I really have no complaints about the room itself. It was good. The hotel let us bring it bikes inside. Also good. Close to Kombini. Result.
But... I was woken up at 2.30 am by screaming and carrying on (from the bar downstairs?) by a girl and a guy. Maybe the same guy who was asleep in the couch in the lobby at 6.30 am. Which wasn't great.

The location is great, right inside the tropical forest where birds, butterflies and small animals can be heard (and spotted if you're lucky enough😀 ). The staff at the hotel is nice and helpful (we had to arrange a late arrival). We would definitely come back!

Yanbaru hostel is a cool place to stay, and Kunigami (and the surrounding area) are worth visiting. We especially enjoyed the large lobby, with the pool table. The family room was comfortable and well designed.

Great hotel for birdwatchers. The location is quite remote and you need a car to explore the whole area which is very beautiful. Good Japanese breakfast.
