We stayed for two nights and it was the best place we stayed at on our month long trip to Japan. as soon as we arrived, we felt welcomed and so well taken care of. the food was just beyond amazing, the building is so cool, the surrounding area is gorgeous, the staff is so personable, the sauna amazing, and we got to spend some time with the adorable rescue cats. this place is worth the trip out to Shikoku alone, but it's also very close to a lot of interesting places to see like the Iya valley vine bridge, Oboke gorge, a yokai museum, beautiful nature, onsens and more. we will most definitely be back :)

Really in the middle of the Iya Valley, just nature around! Super nice and cosy little room, with a very comfortable bed : ) Smoking allowed on the balcony. They grabbed me at the Oboke station because it was raining. Super nice hosts!!!

We booked this to visit during the weekend iya valley and we spent two amazing days here. It's near the train station and honestly I think the place is much more cool and cozy than it looks in the photos. If you're looking for an affordable place to visit iya valley this is the spot.

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, amazing city and region in general ! Highly recommended for travelers around Shikoku, this is a great spot to stay and organize day trips in the Iya area. If you stay there, make sure to try the restaurant / cafe Heso Salon as well ! This place is beautiful! A renovated apartment in a traditional Japanese building - it has been beautifully renovated and has all the comforts you could need. A really stunning place to stay. I wish I had stayed for more than one night!
