This was an amazing stay! We were there for 6 nights, and the attention to every little detail was incredible. Since we were working during the day, we spent most of our time at the library, and at some point, they made us feel like it was our workspace. The breakfast service was outstanding—huge thanks to the gentleman with glasses! He was fantastic (sorry I didn’t get his name). Noriko (I hope I’m spelling her name correctly) from the reception was also extremely helpful!🫶 Since Onomichi is a small town, many local shops require reservations in Japanese. She not only recommended great places but also helped us with reservations, which made our experience even better. I’d say that staying at LOG was an experience in itself. ❤️

This place was an exceptional stay. It exceeded all of our expectations, from the incredible staff, the very nice amenities, the high quality meals, the beautifully decorated rooms, the spacious Onsen with hilltop view, the rooftop bar that you could relax on all night, and the breathtaking views. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Onomichi. It is less than a ten-minute walk to Senkoji Temple. To get to the bottom of the hill where the Onomichi train station is takes around 15 minutes or so, and it is a magical walk up and down this hill, especially at night.
