The staff were really nice and tried their best to make us comfortable. They served a lovely breakfast, and arranged a taxi for us. The room was large and well equipped with a nice bathroom and shower. However it felt a bit like a love hotel, eg condoms were provided and exotic "merchandise" was available.

This small hotel by the beach was fantastic ! The hosts are extremely nice, and accommodating. The overall hotel is charming, the onsen very beautiful, and the highlight of our stay was the kaiseki diner ! Be careful though: the futon and the western beds are a bit hard.

This is the heart of the city. It stands out and is the first thing you see of Imabari coming from the Shiminami Kaido. The hotel is built some time ago, but the hotel and rooms are still in pristine conditions. First time in Japan I've actually had a room to pace around in and a bathtub where I could lay down vertically in. If you get a room on the higher leveled floors, then you will get s splendid view of the city and maybe of the Shiminami Kaido as well.
