This place is not only isolated for tourists, but also the place we feel and enjoy the atmosphere mixed with the people who live there. Many neighbors come to here and talk. The dinner and breakfast are quite good. They respect the local foods like Gibier, Mountain vegetables and hand-made-breads and good wines. Shiojiri is one of the most famous Japanese winery places. They serve much of SHIOJIRI special wines.

The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again if in Shiojiri. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. It is in an excellent location, close to the train station.

It is a calm, soothing and serene place to stay. there is a public bathroom if you prefer to have a soak in a big space. Soaking in a hot bath means a good night sleep. the breakfast provided was excellent. I feel i have been pampered.

To no one's surprise, a Japanese hotel is super cleanly and orderly. The Route Inn gives you the option of having a light daily cleaning and a full daily cleaning. I opted for the light cleaning, since I'm not a messy person, and I was only staying for 4 days. The breakfast provided was also fantastic. Served in a buffet style, the hotel restaurant provided a variety of both Western style and Japanese style breakfast foods.
