Everything! It was exactly what we needed after a day's hike. We arrived at 5pm super hungry and they were flexible to get us dinner. The room were cosy authentic and comfortable, simple. The onsen was peaceful. The food was AMAZING, we had fish, sushi , hotpot , steak and the sobu noodles for just 20ish euros per person. We slept super good and when we had to leave the next morning they got us a taxi.

Nice hotel with a cool 80s vibe. Rooms were spacious. Good buffet breakfast. Outdoor Onsen in the snow was a great experience. Not too far from Yu Road and Hikage ski area.

Beautiful scenery and view from the hotel and room view. Apart from the slope (only because we have stroller) else it's a short walk from everywhere to/from the hotel. The biggest plus for this hotel is the private toilet for us. But amazingly everything was perfect. The owner and staffs are very friendly and helpful, the room neat, tidy, cosy and clean. They do cleaning daily. We also ate the special vegetarian dinner meal prepared by them and it's fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again if we are in Nozawaonsen! Thank you Hatoguruma Kawabata for the perfect memory! :)
