Amasing place with gentle owners, nice and cute japanese vintage style, bright rooms with yukatas, beautiful onsen space with clear hot water, near the nature with excellent connection with City Center by bus or walking, big 7/11 convenient store near. We arrived quite late on our arrival date and the owner was so kind and let us check in late. She had provided a lot of guidance on how to take care of the house and ourselves during this cold winter (Winter is really cold in this area). The host doesn't speak english but she was really nice and explained really well with habd-written notes and translation app. She also helped us clean our suitcases. The house is equipped with many heaters so we could stay warm when it was snowing outside. Also, there are many wonderful restaurants within walking distance from the house. Highly recommend this little cozy house that was sparkling clean!

Everything. Definitely do it. We came in the snow and felt so comfy and it was so private. We all just kept going wow look where we are. The view was amazing, the staff also. I want to come back in the spring.

Old house with not simply vintage style but real details. Love all the furniture and the wood stove at first sight. Nobu welcomed us with some nice herbal tea. She speaks fluent English and we had some nice conversations. She also recommended and gave us a ride to a nice public bath. What we cherished most is the special visit to Mr. Kawanaka, the local artist. It’s our pleasure to meet him and appreciate his artwork. Truly memorable journey. Thank you!

The hospitality of this place is an absolute 10/10. The place is run by a friendly married couple. We were a bit early and they welcomed us and had our room, ready for us to use. We checked in fast and we went to the Tsunan Snow Festival, we came in back late at around 10pm and the wife greeted us and made sure we knew where the facilities were. The next day, we had a traditional Japanese breakfast and that breakfast is still the best traditional breakfast we have throughout the trip to Japan. The husband explained to us, that the rice was grown by him or his family (we were using language translate apps to communicate). We also had a friendly conversation about where we come from and our trip to Japan. This place completely blew all expectations that we had. We expected this to be just a pit stop on our car journey north (did I mention they have plenty of parking?) but it ended up being a place and a memory that we will never forget.
