My stay was great! The room has its own fridge, water dispenser (hot and cold), foldable table, mugs, coffee, tea, lockers (for your valuables), towels, trash bins, hair dryer and heater.. Kenji was real helpful and everything was kept orderly and clean :) he has a washing machine (u have to pay 200 yen for the washer and 100 for the dryer, there were soap pods available to use). Hot and cold showers were working fine too! I did not expect to have the room all to myself, the 3 bunks were unoccupied 🥹 the location was just a few min walk from Uji River, so there were harmless insects but nothing to worry about. Its walking distance from everything Uji Matcha as well 💚 i enjoyed my stay here so much :)

Furnishings were incredible and the location was very close to Kyoto station and bus terminal. A nearby mall provided dining and shopping options too! Huge rooms by Japanese standards. A truly wonderful bathroom with waterfall shower and a big (but not long, as is typical for Japan) bathtub.

    I like the location which is quite near to JR Uji Station and Byōdo-in Temple. They have all the basic amenities and clean. Very responsive and helpful owner via digital channel. Allow luggage storage with lock but will be good to have English instructions. Provide car and bicycle rental to roam around places nearby. Plus point with free laundry.
