An unique experience. So different from regular hotels. We loved the こたつkotatsu. Very calm and peaceful. Public transportation is doable with some effort. We also enjoyed cycling around the countryside with the bikes provided.

Thank you for the perfect hospitality. The lovely hostess thought of every detail and we lacked nothing. We were thrilled that she left us strawberries in the fridge with a handwritten note in Hebrew. It was really sweet. The house is large, very clean, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is large and equipped with everything you need for cooking. The environment is rural and authentic, an experience of a village in Japan. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do. Highly recommend 🤗

We had an unforgettable experience at this place! The house itself is like something out of a fairytale — a traditional Japanese home, yet finished to an exceptionally high standard and absolutely stunning. The location in the heart of the old city is just perfect! The real highlight, however, is the team. They are true professionals, kind and attentive to every little detail. It was such a joy to meet such warm and welcoming people who grew up in the area. Breakfast was another unforgettable moment — prepared by the in-house chef, it felt like a fine dining experience served in the most beautiful room. Overall, an outstanding stay. Great location close to train station, historic district, eateries, shopping malls - everything within walking distance. Room and bathroom larger than most we experienced on our trip - very spacious and lovely and warm with heat pump. Very modern hotel would highly recommend. The staff were extremely helpful; and helped us with anything that was asked of them even if it was not related to the hotel. They would not take any tips even though we insisted that what they had done for us went far beyond the call of duty. Definitely a must visit.
