An amazing place to stay for a vacation in Yakushima. The location is spectacular with a sea view, the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The owners of the hotel are charming and help with everything we need, they helped us perfectly in preparing the visit to the island. I had an amazing stay at this spacious house on the south coast of Yakushima! If you’re planning to visit, I definitely recommend coming by car since there’s a free parking spot available, which makes things super convenient. - Beautiful and cozy house: The house is stunning inside and out, with a warm, welcoming vibe. The garden is also really well maintained and adds to the charm. - Spotlessly clean: Everything was incredibly clean when I arrived, which made the stay very comfortable. - Fast WiFi: The internet is surprisingly fast, which was a great bonus. - Affordable food options: The house offers food you can buy for just 100–200¥, including ramen, curry, rice, and snacks - Great location: A supermarket is only 2 minutes away on foot, and there are two hot springs (onsens) and a beach within walking distance. - Spacious and well-equipped: The house can accommodate up to 7 people and has two bathrooms, which is really convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. - Friendly owner: The owner is incredibly kind and speaks enough English to communicate easily. They’ve also prepared some English translations and information to help you out.

This is perfectly positioned for the deep sea onsen. There was special towels to use for the onsen and we were very pleased with this. The kitchen was well equipped, great space to relax at gather around the table. Very neat and traditional Japanese with a modern touch.

We loved everything about this place, but the couple who runs it made it even more fantastic. He is an excellent cook, so enjoy at least once the amazing dinner (as well as the japanese breakfast) and she is welcoming you so warm and friendly, you just want to stay longer.

The fantastic host Suguru! Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and he speaks excellent English which made communication very easy. I really enjoyed having a sea view from my room, the property itself is beautifully designed - very stylish and high quality. The kitchen/lounge area is very well equipped and maintained with fancy crockery and cooking utensils (I admit I was too afraid to use them as not a confident chef and didn’t want to risk damaging anything by accident, but if you are used to cooking you will be fine) I adored the bathrooms and shower rooms, the pressure for the shower was heavenly! Shampoo/conditioner/soap/towel/slippers provided for free. I also used the washing machine which was very easy to do. The building can endure harsh stormy weather, could barely feel there was a storm when you’re safely inside. A very serene and tranquil setting.
