I highly recommend this hotel especially for those who prefer to travel independently without guides. Here you will not only be able to relax, but also will always be under the care and protection. The hotel staff will help you in any situation, no matter what time of day it is and no matter how far you are from the hotel. What else is important for me when choosing a hotel: quietness, comfortable bed, shower with normal water pressure and temperature, good breakfast. All of those I found in Rock Hyrax hotel. And even more. The hotel staff saved me when my car broke down in a remote area. And when I finally got to the hotel at about midnight, a warm dinner was waiting for me in my room. And they absolutely refused to include it in my bill. It was very touching. I felt as if I had come to my parents' house. Special thanks to Ms Mercy for her care and for hospitality!

Sarova Woodlands Hotel is beautifully set up with very plush reception area and very smart and friendly and professional staff. Bedrooms were very comfortable and in a very quiet location. Unfortunately the Spa was unavailable due to refurbishment which was disappointing as we were really looking forward to a swim and use of the Spa after our busy travel around Kenya.

When you arrive you are immediately enveloped in luxury, cleanliness and the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everything is beautiful and furnished with great taste, in fact we were ashamed because coming from a Game Drive we were obviously dressed for travel and dusty, but the staff welcomed us warmly without letting us notice our condition ;-) Just five minutes drive from Lake Nakuru, for New Year's Eve they organized a party with an amazing buffet, tables set in great style and luxury, colored lights everywhere, huge and beautiful rooms. We liked it all. The location was great, in the center in a very clean area next to a beautiful park. Perfect to walk around for us. The staff were super nice and helpful with everything we needed. The room was very big, with wonderful view and perfectly equipped. The swimming pool was big, clean and surrounded by a nice area to sit and relax. The restaurant is also very good. And it has a cafe and a nice central area to sit.
