I highly recommend this hotel especially for those who prefer to travel independently without guides. Here you will not only be able to relax, but also will always be under the care and protection. The hotel staff will help you in any situation, no matter what time of day it is and no matter how far you are from the hotel. What else is important for me when choosing a hotel: quietness, comfortable bed, shower with normal water pressure and temperature, good breakfast. All of those I found in Rock Hyrax hotel. And even more. The hotel staff saved me when my car broke down in a remote area. And when I finally got to the hotel at about midnight, a warm dinner was waiting for me in my room. And they absolutely refused to include it in my bill. It was very touching. I felt as if I had come to my parents' house. Special thanks to Ms Mercy for her care and for hospitality!

This is a true luxury hotel experience. Everything (room, building, yard, restaurant, and staff) is exceptional. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and super clean. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is friendly, helpful and responsive. One morning I asked for a cappuccino, before heading out for a full day safari drive, but the espresso machine was receiving regular maintenance. The staff surprised me by delivering a cappuccino to me when I was already in the safari land crusier about to depart. Above and beyond service. A great luxury hotel.

The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed the balcony with a view of the lake. The food was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The Ole-Ken is a wonderful slice of heaven situated a walk away from the beehive city. The guards were strict with security. I commend them for this. Kevin at the reception was polite and is a good communicator. The parking lot was secure and the protocol was sensible. We loved the room, but most of all, we cannot fail to bless the chef for the food we received. The chef's special was so good we had it twice! Definitely my hotel destination whenever I am around Nakuru.

We liked it all. The location was great, in the center in a very clean area next to a beautiful park. Perfect to walk around for us. The staff were super nice and helpful with everything we needed. The room was very big, with wonderful view and perfectly equipped. The swimming pool was big, clean and surrounded by a nice area to sit and relax. The restaurant is also very good. And it has a cafe and a nice central area to sit.
