Everything else abt Villa Ameera is perfect. Highly recommendable for all ages and especially for Families. We had a lot of fun. Everyone was helpful & respectful. All the staff are excellent. The Chef cooks delicious meals & prepares the table in a classic manner. We shall definitely come back sooner or later.

All the staff were very nice and discret. And arranged with whatever I needed during my stay. The property is basic but has everything you need to sleep and wash. The roof top is really comfortable with WiFi. The restaurant is there if you don’t want to go out and has a nice sunset. I tried the omelet and sausage in the morning it was very yummy. Depends on the price but if you get a good price, it will be a good deal.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location. The staff where pleasant and very helpful when they found out we where on honeymoon they upgraded us at no extra cost. And the food was very good I can't say enough about the staff. Excellent place to stay highly recommend

Fabulous location - about 15-20 min from Malindi International Airport. Very friendly staff . There was always someone around to help out or to direct you to someone who would . Check-in was good and clear . Kevin was very helpful and I think Mr Duncan ?. Food was a good variety. Special Shout out to our adopted grandfather ( didn’t get his name) he made sure I and the kids plus my mum were well fed and didn’t miss in some of the meals in a corner . The family room was spacious and just right with the two kids. I loved that there was a pool that was mainly for kids . It was just perfect for my 3 and 1 year old. We utilised the spa and my mum enjoyed a relaxing massage. We loved the privacy at the beach area and with all inclusive we got drinks etc ( ice-cream was charged though which was a bit meh as shouldn’t really in an all inclusive ) They’ve def done a great job of providing employment to the locals . Lots of people at hand

Malindi is currently regarded as the "dead town" but in my opinion, it's the perfect escape from all sorts of pollution- Instantly replaced by the facinating historical landmarks like hell's kitchen & Mambrui in totality, peace & serene, are just some of the healing that Malindi has to offer.

If you can cook in Malindi, please cook.

If you can cook in Malindi, please cook. Chefs are also too expensive but if you are up for it, great. The customer service in Malindi is questionable, some restaurants even packing sub food as your take away. Also, the locals especially tour guides try to rip you off compared to other coastal towns, its quite annoying. Make sure you have someone who knows their way around Malindi so that you can be linked up.

Malindi town is typical of Kenya with a market, supermarket, lots of traders and as a tourist you are well served. It is a quiet safe area but restaurants tend to be quiet at night with few customers.If you want nightlife there are clubs and beach parties til 3am or later .

Cool laid back town. Action is on the beach. Local foods like fish, calamari, prawns easily gotten-mostly in the evening. Its a 'crime' not to use a motor bike(boda boda) to tour the town on foot! Annoying whistles and hoots from the riders- just avoid eye contact! Malindi town is easy to walk around. Coffee lovers have a huge choice- kahawa tungu( peppered with cinnamon&ginger powder)- on the bench at every turn of road -or- in Italian themed coffee joints by the beach and main streets. Lo Sfizio restaurant- along Lamu road is a great one.- Malaika Restaurant- Buntwani Beach is another.

Easy town to move around. Not that many pedestrian walkways. From my last visit(2023) there is an upgrade though. Need for more coffee places. The beach areas could be more cleaner. For coffee and lovely delicious snacks,go to Malaika restaurant opposite the Buntwani Beach Front. Walking is the healthiest way to move around Malindi,just don't give a visual contact with the boda boda taxis( you will ride unwillingly!) Avoid the Tikka chicken with coloured(yellow) spicing.

The place is conveniently located at the beachfront. The check-in and check-out processes were quite easy and straightforward. Trizah was very responsive and super helpful in recommending a guide to show us around Malindi during our stay. Our house keeper Linet was the best. She cleaned the place daily keeping it clean and neat and was readily available to help out with just a quick phonecall.

The Villa is exactly as it's shown on Booking.com....the staff are friendly and polite. We enjoyed the great meals from Anderson and Linet. Ruth was also very kind to us. We really enjoyed our 3days stay. I recommend the environment to any other person going to Malindi. The beach is at a walking distance.

A super nice small hotel that only has 8 rooms! It is very nicely surrounded by coconut trees and and other trees and flowers! It is very quiet during the day and you can relax by the pool! The beach is only a 10 to 15 minute walk away
