The layout of the property is truly beautiful and you feel like you are entering an oasis. There are a total of 8 rooms, and the outdoor area is spacious so it never gets too crowded. The staff are so amazing - doing everything to make you feel at home and even if something is not on their menu, they will try to get the next day and prepare for you. We were celebrating a birthday and tuna is a favourite, so we asked Stacey if it could be possible to get hold of and prepare for us on the birthday - and she immediately made calls, and the chef prepared it just the way we love it. Stacey is always there to assist and help. Ian, Geoffrey and Hosna always kind and moving between the kitchen/bar and serving the guests. Even though the beach is not pristine and there is dried seaweed on it so it's not the perfect white sand beach - there is a white sand bank just outside (1min walk in the water) and that's where you see last call kids go to swim as well. Sawa Sawa Beach House is a small paradise and we will definitely be back.

This is paradise!!! So so beautiful and in a great location. It can accommodate different groups of people; families, groups of friends, honeymoon couples etc. The rooms are clean, big and modern with smart Tvs. There are two well thought out and good sized pools. One in a place with a shade (and a slide) and the other one in the open overlooking the beach. The beach is private and clean. They have two rooftop areas where one can catch the most breathtaking sunset. The food was well prepared and inclusive. The hospitality was excellent. The staff were the cherry on top. The resort is run by Mr Kinoti, a true gentleman, who was constantly on his feet to ensure everything was running seemlessly. The restaurant staff: Juma, Albert, Bakari.... just to mention a few, were so kind and attentive. They went the extra mile to meet our needs always. We couldn't thank them all enough for giving us an unforgettable experience. Ps: The coffee is outstanding!

A beautifully crafted and decorated hotel - on an island in the Indian Ocean (17km south of Diani) - sister hotel Nomad where we previously stayed and we would say it was a more peaceful experience. The room was beautiful and spacious. Excellent variety of food and different restaurants. There’s a lovely gift shop and so many activities - kayaking, mangrove walks, yoga, diving etc or you can just relax on the beach or by one of the three pools. Sunsets on the deck are incredible. Good transfers to and from Diani - depending on the tide you will go across by small boat or tractor! Which was so fun!

Breakfast very good, and every day they change something: base is very good coffee, fruit, honey jam, milk, and one day you have beans cooked in coconut sauce, another day chapati or omelettes, then toasts or sweet rice balls, something typical swahili and we enjoyed a lot. Location is special! Beach just there and a wonderful tropical garden behind. No noise, only birds and peace. No moskitos!!!!

Everything is beautiful! Garden is so green, a lot of palms on the beach. The staff are very polite. The manager Pamela was so helpful in many things, she helped us to rent a motor bike with locals, and had organize a cake for our anniversary as a surprise.

The Nomad is a really lovely place. The food was very good, the staff at reception very friendly and professional. The whole set up with the swimming pool surrounded by greenery is lovely. Also nice to watch the different monkeys climbing in the trees. The beach is truly stunning, and while before booking I had feared the beach would be too busy, this was not the case. Of course when you go for a walk you are approached by beach sellers, but they accept a no. We had a standalone bungalow, with our own reclining chairs and lots of space around, very pleasant (that probably explains the high price, but for us that privacy and peacefulness was what we had been looking for), beach sellers walk past, but they leave you in peace when you say no. We also appreciated their environmental efforts.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations. It is practically brand new, so everything is absolutely clean, hygienic and fragrant. The rooms are almost luxurious, excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds, mosquito nets (although we did not see a single mosquito for a week in December), spacious bathroom. Absolutely great daily cleaning service, towels, bathrobes, shower gels and shampoos - all with the hotel emblem. Possibility to have breakfast in the room, on the ground floor, or on the fantastic roof terrace. There is also an unbeatable panoramic pool with perfectly clean and, most importantly, optimally warm water. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating, especially we want to thank Joseph and Bahati for their hospitality. From our point of view, the hotel was comparable in quality to a better five-star hotel. Breakfast was a choice of 4 options, which was quite fine for a week's stay. The kitchen, as well as the roof bar, are available all day and cook quality food. Our family spent a wonderful time at the hotel all days of our stay. A tuk-tuk regularly took us to the beach with a very good and not expensive restaurant, a 5-minute journey and only 2 USD. Thank you very much for everything Marikeko.
