This hotel has been designed and built with great attention to detail with beautiful features , exquisite furnishings . It is in a secluded quiet spot with no external noise which makes your stay totally relaxing and calm . The food was delicious and beautifully presented . Cocktails first class!! Staff are attentive and very friendly . Fabulous pool and relaxation areas and wonderful garden . Beautiful view of the sea.

This place iMawe Zuri is a pearl. I appreciated the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. This is a peaceful haven with a very appeasing sea view, which I was able to enjoy from the restaurant every day, both morning and evening. The restaurant's menu is delightful. I reccomand to try the mango shrimp and rice. There are also has a spa with massage offers, à gym and swimming pools. If you prefer the white sand ans wave Mawe is close to the beach. Bonus : and they can help you organising your excursions with a local guide and airport transfert from Mombasa and Malindi.

I loved the location at Lily Palm Resort! The beach is amazing and the view at sunset is breathtaking! Lovely resort with kind staff that made my stay very pleasant, I liked the exotic vibe throughout the place and I was lucky enough to experience a dinner by the beach that is organized once every week... great experience! I would recommend this place for a relaxing holiday.

It is a very good hotel set in well maintained grounds. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The public rooms are attractive and inviting. The staff were excellent who found nothing too much trouble. We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

The hotel staff was amazing — super kind, always smiling, and able to combine great professionalism with a warm, welcoming attitude. The structure itself is beautifully designed and impeccably maintained, making every moment of the stay truly comfortable. The entertainment is soft but very pleasant, never intrusive, and perfectly balanced for a relaxing atmosphere. A special shoutout to Florence, a fantastic entertainer who brings joy with her energy and kindness. But our deepest appreciation goes to Anthony — an elegant, highly professional guide who speaks many languages and is always ready to help with calm, patience, and genuine care. He is incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and present without ever being overwhelming. Above all, he is simply a wonderful person: easy to talk to, thoughtful, and capable of making you feel immediately at ease. People like him transform a vacation into an unforgettable experience. Some really good beaches... very full day trips on boats...

Some really good beaches... very full day trips on boats... lots of stalls to purchase things... good supermarkets on the main road if you are staying in a villa... due to the heavy Italian tourist presence, there are plenty of great eateries and restaurants... easy to get around on motorbike or tuk tuk... generally very safe compared to Nairobi.

Watamu is one of my favorite places to visit in North Coast.

Watamu is one of my favorite places to visit in North Coast. It is not overpowering like other towns in North Coast. The people are very friendly and hospitable. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views at Litchaus and Crab Shack. The cultural tour to Waka Waka Island and seeing dolphins. However, it can be pricier than other places. I recommend going with an open mind and a spirit of fun. To get the most from Watamu, do not rush. I recommend spacing out your travel and allowing yourself to soak it all in. There's definitely so much to see and learn from the local community.

The people are quite friendly including cab divers. The beaches are wonderful. Not too much interference from the beach boys. The area is relatively quiet in the evenings. Good for a person who has relaxation in mind. My favourite beach was Gecko resort. It is easy to get around Watamu with Tuk Tuk or cabs.

A bit expensive as it's made for tourists, so expect European prices (5EUR one beer or 8EUR a cocktail). The beach is amazing, it's totally worth it :) However, try to be in a beach chair, as those are in private restaurants or hotels; that's the only way the beach boys are not going to annoy you all the time (and even there, they might try to talk to you or stare at you, but it's less likely). There's a club (Come back club) that we loved, as the atmosphere and music were great :)

This place was very spacious, clean, safe and modern with a very beautiful interior and exterior. We used the amazing pool everyday. The beach is a short walk away and the main road is even closer with motorbike taxis or tuktuks always available to can take you anywhere further. A cleaner was arranged twice over our 4 night stay which was perfect, also with fresh sheets and towels. A security guard is there every night, who was also a very kind man. If we ever come back to Watamu, we will be staying here.

The location is a little out of town but the mototaxi are only 100 Kes and they are always outside. It is a 5 minute walk to the most idyllic beach. The beach shack is a wonderful place to chill with brilliant cooked to order seafood. Staff are lovely and always available to help you. First hotel I have stayed at in Africa that actually provided more than enough towels !!! Which all smelt lovely and fresh

First went 26 years ago, it still has the same charm and character and yet it is one of the few hotels in Kenya that has given the place an overhaul during covid. Looking for to or next visit.
