The lady owner was excellent at using tanslator and it felt like she was a fluent speaker of English. I liked her smile as it always put me at ease. I really enjoyed healthy and delicious breakfast she prepared every morning, which was good for my canker sore as well. She was very attentive and always tried to help people staying there. Bek and Bermet are very hospitable. We felt at home from the very beginning. We were upgraded to a double room since we're staying 3 nights in Kochkor. Breakfast was great, very filling. Bek guided us on a tour to the beautiful alpine lake of Song-Kul. We loved the whole experience of the road trip and the lake with its outstanding views. Bermet is very talented in making Shyrdak carpets and rugs together with other women in the village. Bek is a very kind man and always ready to answer any question or help in anyway he could. We highly recommend this place to all who want to have a base and discover the natural beauties around Kochkor.
