I stayed 3 nights with Sok and his family and it couldn’t have been better! The family is so welcoming, you feel like you’re on a summer holiday at your grandparents house, they make you feel at home from the beginning. Sok does the countryside tour which is a great insight into how people live. You can have nice family dinner at the homestay and the food is delicious. There is a market every morning right in front of the house, so that might wake you up. This experience was as authentic as it gets, if you are not looking for authenticity, choose hotel. This was JUST AMAZING for me. Thank you for accommodating me and taking a great care of me Sok! I hope to see you again.

The big highlight is enjoying the sunset and its reflection on the lake while savouring your drink. Spacious room with comfortable bed, nice neighborhood near many restaurants and cafes. We also went for kayaking to see the dolphins, it was a very nice experience. The hosts are very helpful, speaking very good English. Not to forget.. they have good wine.

It is modest but perfect accommodation in Kratie. Next to the river and close to everything. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. I had a shared bathroom which was kept clean and was always available. Staff are exceptionally friendly and will make your stay a pleasure. Price is excellent value for what you get.

This guesthouse is a really peaceful place located near the Mekong river. Everything is tidy and clean, the rooms are really nice and comfortable. The owners are very kind and helpful. We rented a bike for only 2$/day to reach easily the city center otherwise a little bit far on foot. Me and my friend really enjoyed this place so we highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay at Dary‘s Village Guesthouse & Restaurant. Our room was very spacious and clean. The guesthouse is situatrd in the village where Dary grew up so you get to experience the authentic life of the people and kids there and can also try the food at the local market just around the corner. Dary is such a beautiful person inside and out. If you’re interested she will also tell you a lot about her life and the life of the people in her village. The food her mom and Dary herself are preparing is delicious. If you are up for some activities or need support to organise your transport, Dary will arrange everything for you. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable! We already miss you! 💕

We have been traveling for 10 weeks (India, Thailand, Cambodia) and Privada Lodge was The fIrst Hotel that Felt like we were “coming home.” The main room is decorated with beautiful and interesting art…it feels upscale Vintage and very Comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! The omelette is fluffy and delicious. The banana crepes were authentic. The owner is French and his influence shows in the food, aesthetics and attention to style and detail. The bed was So Comfortable!! The room was Spacious and Quiet. The owner arranged a tour for us to see the dolphins…plus we had lunch at a pier on the river covered in thatch- with hammocks everywhere! SWAM in The Mekong! Saw a Beautiful Temple! And a Sunset that was Spectacular!! Our Tuk Tuk Driver- Soda- was Fabulous!

We liked everything at this guesthouse. Big, clean, comfortable room. Restaurant downstairs. Low priced scooter rental & free bicycles to use. Quiet location but only a few minutes walk to town centre. Very friendly staff, especially the boss - Sohan. Good value for money!
