Their owner is a open minded and responsible man with good English standard. Staffs are young and friendly. We enjoyed the spacious rooms with balcony. Their breakfast was awesome. We did encountered difficulties to access wifi in room but they provided solution swiftly. This is what I really care. I do not need a perfect robot, but I enjoy services by good people.

You stay in the garden of the family, in an own bungalow on pillars. Esaro ist the best host to have, good English, calm, friendly and experienced. He organized our trips there with a perfect timing, also for the bats, incl. transfer to Siam Reap. You share the bathrooms with the other guests and Esaro‘s wife is cooking very good food for you.

A very beautiful oasis to come back to each day. Staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. The bed was lovely, firm and comfortable and facilities good. The pool was a real treat, and beautifully clean. The breakfasts gave a good choice and very tasty. Easy walking distance to town.

Nice place to stay in Battambang, 10 minutes walk to the railway station or bus station (by tuk-tuk), and city center just a few blocks away. Very nice staff, and a nice area, specially some blocks away with a restaurant area in the middle of the traffic jam. A nice place to see the daily life in a not too big city in Cambodia. Nice people everywhere and a good feeling. If I had the possibility. I would have stayed a few days more. I think there was a restaurant nextdoor for breakfast, but I am not sure, and I cannot remember how I got a breakfast, but obviously it was no problem for me.

We had the best stay at Battambang Eco Stay. Pisey and her family are super friendly and they do everything to give you a nice stay. You feel completely welcome! The breakfast is delicious and Pisey is a great chef, so we can highly recommend having dinner at the accommodation in the evening. Everything is very clean and tidy. The accommodation is a bit further outside the center, which gives you a great impression of local Cambodian life. When we are in Battambang again, we will definitely come back!

From the moment I arrived at Setha About the World Homestay, I felt completely at home. The place is peaceful, beautifully kept, and full of warmth. Setha is the kindest and sweetest person you will meet in Cambodia — she treated me like a friend and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. She helped me also with the logistics and let me stay longer in my room since my bus was pretty late. Also her son, Sambat, is a super nice little guy who was always there and helped with translations if needed. My room was spotless and comfortable, and I loved the quiet garden and calm atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to relax after exploring Battambang and surroundings on a full day tour. I left feeling grateful and inspired by Setha‘s hospitality. I can’t recommend Setha About the World Homestay enough — it’s a truly special place run by a truly special person. Once again, thank you for everything :)
