THE BREAKFAST - was peculiar to Western needs and tastes - The proforma menu selection did not always ring true - The food itself was very tasty and the gallons of tea were hot and deliciously refreshing. The breakfast room was clean, comfortable, bright and very welcoming.

As a frequent traveller i have some experience of hotel population in Astana, and this particular one is my absolute favourite! Alanda hotel is actually a part of a local quarter with same name, including apartments, flats, clinic and spa/welness unit under same name. Hotel itself is a 14 levels high building in neo classic style. My room (the cheapest one) was quite spacious and very comfortable. Large bathroom, carpet on the floor, air condition, very comfy king-size bed, big screen LED TV, minibar with kettle, tee, sugar and coffee in the room, bathrobe, slippers, daily cleaning etc etc - all this stuff made my stay very comfortable. Staff at the desk was always available, very nice and helpful. One of best experiences at Arlanda hotel was a Balkony restaurant with outdoor section, located on second floor in same building. Cosy environment, relaxing music and food of high quality made my breakfast to very pleasant experience. Interior in the room, corridors and restaurant was in same neo classic french style - very chick! Alanda hotel is located on broad street, but you can´t hear the noise due to soundproof windows. Surrounding area includes chopping mall "Astana" just across the street, with barber-shop, grocery store Magnum and lot of boutiques under same roof. Warmly recommended hotel, no doubt about it...

I stayed at the property for my Ironman triathlon race in Astana. Two of my friends had booked separate rooms as well on the first level. The rooms were spacious, appropriately equipped, and not noisy. The location is within walking distance from grocery stores, a bus stop, coffee shops, a bank, and restaurants. The staff was supportive and warm. The Astana triathlon park is a 10-15 minute walk or a 5-minute bicycle ride away. Additionally, the hotel arranged a cab for pick-up from the airport, which was very helpful.

The location is great as there's a lot of good restaurants nearby and a mall. The room was also good during my stay because it was not too cold and not too hot. I also like that there is a water dispenser in every floor so you can have unlimited drinking water during your stay.
