Value for money was exceptional and a really lovely surprise to access a beautiful swimming pool in exceptional setting. From the outside the hotel looked unexceptional but the complex was a teal suprise.

SANDERS & TANOI are The Most Perfect guesthouse owners ever !!! Don Som Riverside location is really breathtaking, and the bungalows face some of the most fascinating views to Mekong River !!! And the dinner was really delicious !!! The gave me the very best tips to continue my travel through Mekong River on my way to Laos !!! Our room was very spacious and clean, with the most amazing balcony right on the river, complete with hammocks. Watching the sunset from our balcony each evening was truly delightful. The island is really quiet but has plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We hired bicycles at the guesthouse and visited 2 fabulous waterfalls and Don Khon's busier neighbour Don Det. The staff were always friendly and helpful and arranged our onwards journey right from our balcony! We loved our stay here and would love to return.

This was the best stay I’ve had while traveling down through Laos from Luang Prabang. Totally recommend it to everyone! Alex and Leymon are super friendly. they even helped arrange a ride to Don Det and were quick to reply to messages before I arrived. Especially, Leymon’s Asian food was amazing, honestly as good as what I’ve had in the actual countries. Can’t wait to try it again! Between meals we played cards, chatted, and hung out with their dogs and cats—such a chill vibe. The room was clean and comfy, with a soft bed, towels, and shampoo. The shower has an open ceiling, so you might notice it when it rains, but it didn’t bother me at all. Loved the whole experience!

Amazing stayed! The accommodation location is in sunset side, not far from the pier 5 minutes walk the guest house is far from the motor bike road too so it's more quiet for us, don't looking for luxury we highly recommend
